* DAY DREAMING INTO THE NIGHT.

A painting done soon after I started living in Kyoto. I wanted to squeeze as many things about Japanese culture into this rectangle as possible.
Things that impressed me like the tradition of appreciating and spending time with the moon.
Delicious and aesthetically attract cuisine displayed in a variety of wonderfully glazed ceramics.

A WARM AND HEARTY WELCOME !

A space to put some new and some old in. To pull some ideas and doodles out of dusty cupboards and reexamine them in a new environment and maybe in a fresh light. Adding a sprinkling of new ideas and images as they arrive and welcoming feedback from any visitors who care to leave some.

About Me

Alexis
Artist and teacher who enjoys using a variety of different media from paint to pen, audio to video, Whatever is available . Was thinking of calling this blog " CAN'T STOP DOODLING! " ........ An accurate title but maybe a little crude ? ( Well .... am still considering it because doodling is an good description of how I do things. Am continually fascinated by styles, technics, ideas, and have an infuriating habit of having several different things going on at the same time and a house full of unfinished projects. NEVER-THE-LESS some get finished and a selection are being shown on this blog .
